Introducing the Rwanda Remera Tuzamurane coffee - a special micro-lot produced by a small group of around 50 dedicated coffee farmers in the high hills surrounding Remera washing station, located in the Gaseke Sector of Nyamagabe District, in Rwanda’s Southern Province.

Unlike most washing stations in Rwanda that receive cherry from hundreds of smallholder farmers, the Tuzamurane Farmer’s Group is a small association of producers who deliver coffee to Buf Coffee company. The farmers come from a nearby village called Rukamiro, and they provide each other with invaluable support by sharing resources and labor during the busy harvest period.

The Tuzamurane group decided to process and market their coffees separately, resulting in a smaller, more selected lot that is distinguishable from other coffees. This means that they can directly benefit from any higher prices paid specifically for their coffees, resulting in a higher income to support their families.

The coffee has a complex and clean profile that is the result of the group's collective effort to achieve the very best quality. By purchasing the Rwanda Remera Tuzamurane coffee, you are supporting the hard work and dedication of these smallholder farmers and their families. Experience the unique flavor of this exceptional micro-lot coffee, and enjoy the rich cultural history behind its creation.
