This epic brew, featuring zesty lemon-lime acidity, along with some cheeky ruby grapefruit and citrusy notes. It's super juicy and just as clean. Now, let's talk about where it comes from. We've sourced it from Wahundura, a top-notch washing station in Murang'a County, Kenya. This place is one of four run by the Kamachiria Coffee Farmers’ Cooperative Society, or the FCS for short, and they've got over 5,600 legends in their ranks.
The Wahundura station is fed by 1,326 hardworking locals (962 man and 364 women), all growing quality coffee at altitudes of 1750-1850 meters. Running the show is Mercyline Kamete, an absolute pro at making sure those coffee cherries are processed just right. On top of that, the station gives jobs to five permanent staff and adds another handful during the busy season, all sourced from local communities.
