Known as the 'Gold' or ‘Coffee Triangle’, coffee plantations in the central Colombian Andes have developed into one of the most important export products for the country. The Huila region, in particular, regularly produces Cup of Excellence winning lots, and in 2013 received the same honour as Champagne and Roquefort cheese among other renowned location specific goods by receiving Denomination of Origin status. Specialty roasters and baristas will tell you Huila is one of their favourite coffee origins, thanks to its bright acidity, sweetness and aromatic profile.
To brew: Add 2g (roughly half a teaspoon) of Brill coffee to 175ml of hot water or milk. Stir and enjoy.

This stuff is decent. It’s worth the flak I get for spending upwards of 50 bucks on “instant” coffee. Jks on them, it’s delicious, quick and enviro friendly. Will probably keep buying to go with my arvo on toast.

Having tried all the single origins and blends of Brill to date, my favourite has been this delicious Columbian single origin! I absolutely love the chocolate notes that come from this velvety, smooth and luscious all round taste sensation on the palette.
This is definitely my favourite Brill coffee! It has a really nice rounded flavour of coffee with chocolate notes, delicious!
